When ACAT was established in 1982, her approach to rural development was mainly through the promotion and formation of Savings Clubs. The purpose of these clubs was to encourage savings mainly for purchasing of farming inputs. However, in the late 90's ACAT, after a restructuring process, put in place specialized development programms in response to meeting the needs of her targets group.The programs are Sustainable Agriculture Program, Enterprise Development Program and Traininng for Capacity Building program.
